Netflix once again has viewers glued to their screens with another binge-worthy series. This time it’s the latest season of a series that first premiered in 2023. Fortunately, the new season released this month seems to be another hit.

While streaming services have allowed television shows to be more quickly watched than ever before, it’s also led to some major gaps in between seasons. As such, while this particular series first premiered on Netflix in May 2023, it wasn’t until January 8 2025 that the second season was dropped.

Now fans are already taking to social media to discuss the newly-released season. The show, which revolves around the sort of drama and thrilling romance that tends to make such storylines a success, already received plenty of praise when the first season was released. Now it’s clear that the praise is going to continue for the show’s second season.

Here are some of the social media responses from viewers who’ve checked out the second season of the series, titled Fake Profile, and found it especially binge-worthy. This includes the tweet from one viewer who stated the series kept them up until 5:00 AM:

Accidentally stayed up until 5am.. I be blame it on the espresso martinis and this good show on Netflix called Fake Profile

    OMGGGGGGGGG FAKE PROFILE ON NETFLIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The binge-worthy Netflix series, as its title suggests, revolves around a woman named Camilla, played by Carolina Miranada, who meets someone that’s using a fake profile, Rodolfo Salas’s Miguel, on a dating app. While they blossom into quite the messy romance, the second season takes things a step further, when someone using the woman’s identity to lure men into unsuspecting traps.

Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional Netflix updates as we have them. As of this writing, a third season for Fake Profile has yet to be confirmed, and it’s very possible that Netflix chooses to end the series here. With its popularity and critical success, however, a third season of Fake Profile could also be just as likely.
