The U.K. heavy metal band Loathe have officially made a comeback by releasing their first new song in three years. That’s a long time for fans of the band to wait in our music industry, but fortunately, it seems to be worth it.

The new song comes in at a whopping six minutes. With the title “Gifted Every Strength,” it delivers everything that Loathe fans expect to hear when listening to their music. This includes frontman Kadeem France’s vocals along with the band’s unique musical style.

As for the decision to release “Gifted Every Strength,” the band debuted the track to support Spiritbox on their current North American tour. While the band’s previous most recent track was 2022’s “Dimorphous Display,” it’s actually been even longer since they released an album.

Fans will recall that their most recent full-length album was 2020’s” I Let It In and It Took Everything.” Of course, that doesn’t mean the band hasn’t been working, as they’ve been consistently touring the last few years. With an ongoing tour alongside Spiritbox in North America and another planned for later this year in Canada, in which Loathe will be playing with Korn and Gojira, it’s a great time for fans.

Here’s the new track “Gifted Every Strength” which you can listen to below via YouTube:

Fans will be able to see Loathe and Spiritbox during their North American tour that includes a two-night stand in Los Angeles on May 10 and May 11.

Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates regarding the fan-favorite U.K. heavy metal band as we have them. For now, it’s great to see them once again offering a new treat for fans and hopefully they will continue to keep playing and producing music both old and new. Even if we only end up getting a new track every few years, fans of Loathe will certainly still be happy to see the band making any kind of new content while consistently touring.
