We’ve head plenty of new horror franchises pop up over the last decade. Now one particularly popular horror movie from 2018 is set to get a brand new sequel – close to ten years after the first film’s original release.
It’s certainly an exciting way to celebrate this milestone in the young Paramount horror franchise’s history, and something which was officially confirmed by the original director of the series’ first two films. Excitingly enough, he’ll be returning to write and direct this new installment.
Overall, this will count as the fourth movie in the series, as the third film to have been released was a spin-off of sorts from another director. Now, as shared below, director John Krasinski has confirmed his involvement with the third mainline film in the series and when fans can expect to see it.
“July 9, 2027,” the caption teases as the post confirms the release date for A Quiet Place Part III:

It was further emphasized by Deadline that Krainski is “back to direct, white and produce the fourth film in the Paramount series.” However, the outlet does note that there isn’t any cast confirmed, and furthermore the story is being kept under wraps. It is exciting, however, to see that Krasinski is once again helming the project after Michael Sarnoski handled A Quiet Place: Day One.
As such, we’ll have to see how this third mainline installment comes together. With the success of three total films so far, however, fans are definitely eager to see what’s in store for the future of A Quiet Place – and with no better time than nearly ten years after the original film was released once this sequel hits in 2027.
