Marvel have released a new Daredevil promo ahead of tomorrows new trailer, this time focussing on Matt Murdock’s former flame and assassin Elektra. The video features Elodie Yungs, Elektra engaging in some combat ona rooftop, presumably in Daredevils stomping ground, Hells Kitchen. It’s interesting to see whether this will be the characters final costume or if whether, like Daredevil, this will be a prototype version. The sequel to Guillermo Del Toro’s monster fighting epic, Pacific Rim may finally be making headway as a director has been found in the form of Daredevil’s ex show runner Steven S. DeKnight. The Hellboy director made the announcement of DeKnight’s involvement on his official Twitter. The director is expected to stay on as producer to the sequel which currently have a release date. As it stands not much is known about the upcoming film, with reports previously indicating it could in fact be a prequel set within the early days of the Kaiju war which given how the first…

Everybody knew that Captain America: Civil War was going to feature a big cast but even now there’s more names being added to the lineup. The first new addition confirmed comes via Empire Magazine, who have revealed that Tony Stark’s long suffering girlfriend and current head of Stark Enterprises, Pepper Potts. Potts will be played by Gwyneth Paltrow, reprising the role for the first time since Iron Man 3 in 2013. The run time has been revealed for next months Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and if you are a fan of long movies – you’re in for a treat. The cinema chain AMC, have revealed that the epic will be clocking in at 151 Minutes, that’s right, two and a half hours of superhero action. A small minority of fans (and Anthony Mackie) seem to relish the rivalry between studios, most people embrace all aspects of comic book movies, and it seems like Star-Lord himself, Chris Pratt, is no exception. Given the recent success of Deadpool, it would be the understandable that the studio would want to increase the budget to make it bigger. But will the money change everybody’s favourite mercenary? Following from the trailer released earlier this week, we now have our first look at some new promo images from the upcoming second season of Marvel’s Daredevil, giving us a look at new additions, Elektra and The Punisher.
