It’s already been known for some time now that ‘Gotham City Sirens’ will essentially be a Harley Quinn movie, but now it appears that Warner Bros. want more of Margot Robbie’s character. While all has seemed to be well within The DCEU for 2017, a new report states that Ben Affleck’s future could be in doubt as Batman. The Hollywood Reporter claims a source has given them the following information: A source with knowledge of the situation says that the studio is working on plans to usher out Affleck’s Batman — gracefully, addressing the change in some shape or form in one of the upcoming DC films. In what continues to be an awful year for rock fans, Chester Bennington, lead singer of Linkin Park, has killed himself. The news comes from TMZ who reported the following: Law enforcement sources tell us the singer hanged himself at a private residence in Palos Verdes Estates in L.A. County. His body was discovered Thursday just before 9 AM. Chester was married with 6 children from 2 wives. The singer struggled with drugs and alcohol for years. He had said in the past he had considered committing suicide because he had been abused as a child by an older male.…

Say what you want about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as a film, but I think most of us can agree that the film looked great. Aside from those that will complain about the Snyder films being ‘too dark’, the cinematography in BvS was pretty good. Spider-Man: Homecoming is currently in theaters, and pretty much everyone can agree – it was the best Spider-Man film to date. Not to hate on the Tobey Maguire films, but, they really only offer up nostalgia at this point. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man also unquestionably had the coolest on-screen costume to date – but it could have been a lot different. After District 9, director Neill Blomkamp made a couple of films that were met with a mixed reception. Elysium, which I personally enjoyed, currently boasts a 67% on Rotten Tomatoes, and a 6.6 out of 10 on IMDb. While that is still pretty good, most were expecting more in the director’s follow-up. 2015’s Chappie did fair nearly as well, scoring a 32% on Rotten Tomatoes, but had a higher rating among IMDb users.
