When Logan was first announced, there were people skeptical that the film would be PG-13 and that the violence would be about in line with the previous X-Men films, that, while Hugh Jackman did a terrific job, didn’t really unleash the Wolverine that people were accustomed to in the comics. The internet has been pretty positive about Tom Hardy being cast as Venom in Sony’s upcoming solo film. Though, many still have their doubts about a Venom film without Spider-Man, seeing as how he’s a crucial character to Venom, but then again it is Sony we’re talking about here.
