Deadpool 2: First Look At Josh Brolin’s CABLE Revealed

    By Frank PalmerAugust 7, 2017

Deadpool 2 is easily one of the most anticipated movies of 2018.

With that anticipation, comes very high expectations – especially when you factor in that it will feature Marvel’s popular Cable character who will be portrayed by Josh Brolin.

Up until today, we had only seen minor behind the scenes teases for the character – but Ryan Reynolds just posted these pictures on Twitter:

The look is definitely an updated one when you compare it to the comic books, but that typically happens – as the look of certain comic book characters just wouldn’t be practical for film.

We’ll see Brolin next in Avengers: Infinity War, where he plays Thanos.

Some thought that Marvel may have been a little irritated with Brolin playing Cable, since Deadpool is under FOX, but Kevin Feige was really positive about it:

“I think he’ll make one hell of a Cable.”

As far as Infinity War goes – it’ll definitely change the Marvel Cinematic Universe, according to Feige:

“There’s a reason we have publicly called the first one ‘Infinity War’ and the second one ‘Untitled,’ because the movies we were developing were not — certainly there’s a connection, there are with all our movies— but it’s not a first part and a second part,’ before adding ‘It’s a whole movie and a whole story, and then a whole movie and a whole story. That’s about all I can say. It’s certainly inspired by everything that has come before and everything that is hinted at before.”

Infinity War hits theaters May 4th, 2018 and Deadpool is scheduled to be released sometime next year.
