‘Are You Afraid Of The Dark?’ Reboot First Episode Now On YouTube

Nickelodeon has been busy with promoting their new interpretation of Are You Afraid of the Dark? The new miniseries was set to debut this Friday, with three episodes comprising the entire story. But now fans have been given a little treat, as it turns out Nickelodeon has released the first episode for Are You Afraid of the Dark? on their official YouTube channel. Check out the first episode down below!

Of course, fans will still have to wait when the other two episodes premiere on October 18, and October 25, respectively.

In the new series…

Through 3 hour-long episodes, the series introduces a new Midnight Society – a group of kids who tell a terrifying tale about the Carnival of Doom, only to have the events of the story come to life.

Hopefully the overall miniseries lives up to the legacy of the original series. While the theatrical adaptation is seemingly dead in the water for now, it’s nice to see that Nickelodeon still has faith in reviving Are You Afraid of the Dark? for newer audiences.

It’s also worth thanking Nickelodeon for releasing the first episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark? miniseries on YouTube. The little sneak preview of what’s to come in future episodes should not only be a strong way to hook in viewers, but also assure fans that their vision will remain respectful of the original show.
