‘Spider-Man: Work From Home’ Fan Poster Gives Us The Sequel We Need Right Now

    By Jacob DresslerMarch 18, 2020
    Spider-Man: Work From Home

It has been an interesting time on the Internet among other places throughout this Coronavirus pandemic. Like most social issues these days, the Coronavirus pandemic has sparked an enormous amount of memes surrounding the whole ordeal. One new meme takes a rather fun view on the concept of “social distancing” during this Coronavirus pandemic, and to make it even better, it has to do with Marvel’s very own Spider-Man! What’s more, the image was shared directly by Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home director Jon Watts.

By that frame of mind, it makes the image even funnier when you see it’s titled Spider-Man: Work From Home. Obviously it’s not going to be the actual third film of the Spider-Man trilogy (it’s fan art from dorklordcollectibles) , but it’s a hilarious concept to ponder about nevertheless. Especially when you realize Peter Parker is the perfect candidate for such a social distancing campaign.

While we don’t know the actual title for the upcoming third Spider-Man movie, the previous two films did both include the word “home” in their titles. So it is a fun bit of commentary to see the word reused in this satirical image, and hopefully fans get a kick out of seeing director Jon Watts share his vision of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man being the symbol for social distancing.

And speaking of upcoming Disney films, the Coronavirus has not been kind to the unfortunate company. They’ve had a variety of their current and upcoming releases impacted by the Coronavirus and even stopped all stages of development on projects currently in production. It really paints an idea of how intense this Coronavirus situation has gotten and all the better to have some laughs with funny art like this Spider-Man: Work From Home image.

The actual third Spider-Man film is expected to hit theaters on July 16, 2021 assuming all goes as planned.
