Marvel Studios has released a Phase 4 trailer to hype up fans and let them know that even though we’ve had to wait due to the global pandemic that brought a stop to the world, they are here for all of us and ready to kick up the action in theaters once again. With a touching voiceover from the late, great, Stan ‘The Man’ Lee, we first got an homage to the Infinity Saga before getting glimpses at all the new films coming in Phase 4. We also got release dates for every film in this Phase, except for the final film. However, release dates be damned, as the final film of Phase 4 didn’t have one, but we don’t care. That’s because this film is one of the most anticipated movies to come from the Marvel Cinematic Universe probably ever! The final film of Phase 4 will be Fantastic Four, ushering in Marvel’s First Family into the MCU!
The new video gave us release dates for all of the movies coming up, and in order. We got glimpses at Eternals, Shang-Chi, and Black Widow before getting release dates for Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Captain Marvel 2: The Marvels, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3. But, right at the end, we got the iconic ‘4’ logo swooping in to let fans know that the Jon Watts-led reboot is coming at the end of Phase 4. Ever since SDCC 2019, fans have been clamoring at the bits for a ‘real’ Fantastic Four film. Couple that with the logo reveal at Disney’s Investors Day Event, and the excitement couldn’t be higher. Now, we have an idea of when this movie is coming, be it late 2023 or early 2024. And, after the year we’ve all suffered through, 2 years of MCU films building up to this is well worth the wait.
Besides the director, nothing else is known about this flick just yet, but that isn’t stopping fans from campaigning for the favorite choice for Reed Richards and Sue Storm in married couple John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, respectively. Regardless, this little tease at the end of the new video will surely have fans foaming at the mouth for any kind of news regarding Marvel’s First Family finally coming home.
