‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Video Reveals Multiverse Villain Silhouettes

spider-man: no way home multiverse villain silhouettes

With the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans were exposed to a completely new direction for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It officially opened up the possibilities of the Multiverse, which is apparently capable of bridging together entirely different film continuities. This was further emphasized during a Spider-Man: No Way Home sequence in which a variety of villain silhouettes were shown trying to break in from the Multiverse.

It was an interesting scene, and while some were more visible than others, a new video took the time to identify them all.

As noted in the below TikTok video, there were actually six villain silhouettes teased in the Multiverse sequence. The characters that were included:

The Superior Spider-Man

Kraven The Hunter

Scorpion

Black Cat

Rhino

Mysterio

This is quite exciting as at least some of these characters are in the process of getting their own films. Specifically, there is indeed a Kraven the Hunter film in development. Meanwhile, a Black Cat film has been in development hell for some years now. As for the other villains, they have been major fan-favorites. With versions of characters like Rhino having already appeared in the past, it does seem likely we’ll see them again in the future. Especially now that this Multiverse sequence teased all of the villain silhouettes in this way. They definitely want to keep fans reminded of these characters.

As for how Sony and Marvel plan to introduce these characters and interweave them, that’s currently unknown. But it’s definitely safe to say that there are going to be a wide variety of Spider-Man characters and projects coming along soon. As such, fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for updates on these projects as we have them. It’s a good time to be a Spider-Man fan.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently playing in theaters.
