With every year when the Oscars occur, you can expect The Razzies event is sure to follow. The Razzies ceremony is where the worst in acting, directing, pictures, and everything else involved in filmmaking gets recognized for their poor choices. Originally known as the Golden Raspberry Awards, the occasion has been going strong since 1981. This year the event is set to take place on March 26, 2022—one day before The Academy Awards—and the nominations have been announced.
The event will feature nominees such as Ben Affleck in The Last Duel, Amy Adams for The Woman in the Window, movies like Space Jam: A New Legacy, and Karen. However, this is year is something special as a new category is being introduced. Bruce Willis is known for saying yes to a paycheck and has been on this constant run for starring or featuring in direct to DVD/VOD movies. The Razzies have decided the actor’s dedication for B to C level movies by giving him his category titled, “Worst Performance by Bruce Willis in a 2021 Movie”.
Congratulations, Mr. Willis. You’ve truly made it in Hollywood.
