Chris Hemsworth’s iconic superhero character Thor will be returning this year in Thor: Love and Thunder, along with a variety of other characters both old and new. This includes Natalie Portman, who will be playing Jane Foster and her new persona Mighty Thor. As such, it’s going to be quite a crazy film, and now a ridiculous scene has been teased in a newly surfaced Thor: Love and Thunder leak.
With the film’s director being Taika Waititi, the same director as Thor: Ragnarok, it’s already expected that the film will go to absurd new lengths. But this new leak has revealed one very unexpected twist. As revealed via Cosmic Circus, it looks like a child’s drawing – one of a strange-looking monster – will at some point in the film be brought to life. As a result, our fellow heroes will have to battle it alongside Gorr the God Butcher.

At this rate, it looks like Thor: Love and Thunder will be even crazier than its predecessor. Especially because, as revealed in this leak, it’s unclear how such a living children’s drawing could work its way into the plot of Thor: Love and Thunder. But as the actual film hits, it will probably make sense, or at least within the context of Taika Waititi’s crazy imagination. It seems likely that fans will be having a great time either way.
Taika Waititi directed Thor: Love and Thunder from a script he wrote with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson.
Thor: Love and Thunder has a cast that includes Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, and Christian Bale. The film also features Chris Pratt, Jaimie Alexander, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Jeff Goldblum, and Vin Diesel.
The upcoming MCU film is currently scheduled for a July 8, 2022 release date.
