Fans are scanning through every image they can find for information on Thor: Love and Thunder ahead of the inevitable trailer. Luckily, a new piece of artwork has just been released. The below officially licensed poster was designed with a comic book style in mind, albeit with a very 1980’s flair. After the release of Thor: Ragnarok, it’s clear that Thor 4 will be just as stylized, and this new artwork is proof of that.
What’s more, however, is it gives us an idea of how the appearances of certain characters will be changing. In particular, it looks like Korg is sporting a very different look. For example, he appears to have gotten a new belt buckle. Of course, many of the characters are looking quite different, and fans can also see the likes of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Natalie Portman’s Mighty Thor front and center.

While we still haven’t quite seen these characters in live-action, these designs in the artwork do line up with previous ones from Love and Thunder merchandise leaks. As such, despite the stylized nature of this poster, it seems to be very faithful and representative of what we’ll be seeing in the final film. And if that’s the case, then it’s safe to say that director Taika Waititi has knocked it out of the park already – especially based on his success with Thor: Ragnarok.
At this rate, it shouldn’t be much longer until fans will finally be able to see the trailer for the film. With its release date only a few months away, it’s been quite a long wait for this new film. But at this point, it’s sure to be worth it. In the meantime, fans can still stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any further updates on Thor: Love and Thunder as we have them.
The highly-anticipated sequel to Thor: Ragnarok, Thor: Love and Thunder, is scheduled to hit theaters on July 8, 2022
