The iconic John Ajvide Lindqvist novel Let the Right One In was previously adapted as the 2008 film of the same name and its 2010 American remake. Now a new take of the fan-favorite modern vampire story is happening at Showtime. In fact, the new series is scheduled to premiere this October, and now Showtime has unveiled a teaser trailer for Let the Right One In.
This should certainly have horror fans of the original story and its previous adaptations quite excited. Especially because this Showtime series will consist of an initial ten episodes – which should be a great amount of time to further explore the lore in the book and develop its unique and complex characters.
The new teaser trailer is a great example of that and what’s to come.

With a few months to go before the series is released, and this only being the teaser trailer, it’s likely we’ll have additional looks at the show soon. Nevertheless, this is a great glimpse into the series that Showtime has been developing and Let the Right One In and Let Me In fans should have quite the treat coming this October.
Seith Mann directed the pilot for the series in addition to a number of other episodes. The screenplay for the pilot was written by showrunner Andrew Hinderaker. The two will also serve as executive producers on the show.
The cast for the all-new Let the Right One In series includes Demián Bichir, Anika Noni Rose, Grace Gummer, Madison Taylor Baez, Kevin Carroll, Ian Foreman and Jacob Buster.
