Whilst the only game likely to be on anybody’s minds today is the recently announced Marvel/Square Enix venture, footage from another game based on a popular comic book series has surfaced although unfortunately this game was cancelled. The game in question is Sin City based on the acclaimed series of graphic novels from Frank Miller. Earlier today, the nominations for the 2017 Academy Awards were announced and whilst it was mostly as expected, there was one snub which got fans filed. Back in the mid nineties, I enjoyed Batman Forever, although subsequent revisits to the Joel Schumacher film have swayed my opinion. Now, I can’t see through the ridiculous story, the distracting neon in every scene or the campy villains. But it sounds as though this insult to all five senses was almost a very different film, one more akin to Tim Burton’s originals before the editing process.
