Angry British guy who gets annoyed by Comic Book movies but yet can't shut up about 'em! I also hate coffee drank from a glass mug.

In 1979 we were touched by Kramer vs. Kramer. In 2003 we were horrified by Freddy vs. Jason. In 2005 we regrettably rented Alien vs. Predator. And in less than 24 days we WILL be entertained by the next chapter in the vs. series, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In honor of your preparation for the big fight, DC via the crunchy courtesy of Doritos will be releasing a digital prequel comic exclusively found in Doritos Family Fun Mix at Walmart via download codes. Yahoo! Movies has been given a peak at the beautifully constructed comic book penned by…

You know every once in a while we hear a classic is hitting the remake wagon, or rebooted or getting a ‘second cousin twice removed kinda’ sequel (Kindergarten Cop 2 anyone?) and sometimes that rumor fades away, like when Scorsese and De Niro enjoy stirring the media pot with a Taxi Driver sequel every few years. So with years of non-starters I kinda wondered if Blade Runner 2 was just “tears in the rain”. But todays announcement from Alcon Entertainment indeed isn’t “time to die” for the Ryan Gosling sequel but time to go green with a January 12 2018…

With the internet being well …the internet, it’s easy to watch a trending snowball beautifully form, even from the vaguest whispers (*cough*cough* The Sun newspaper!) Case in point being todays speculation that Daniel Craig will exit Bond 25 in favor of a plum role in a new television series based on Jonathan Franzen’s novel Purity. After four turns playing MI:6’s finest and celebrating his 10th year in the role (yeah 10 years already!) we are hearing a lot of buzz that the Chester born actor will be hanging up his holster for a huge television deal. So with all…

Thor: The Dark World was an entertaining release back in 2013; it gave audiences another chance to see not just the God of Thunder but also everyone’s favorite God of Mischief Loki. Unfortunately Christopher Eccleston wasn’t given enough room with the script to truly flex his thespian muscles as the Dark Elf Malekith but really we knew who we came to see. So with the Golden Avenger currently back in Asgard after the events of Age of Ultron, what can we expect from a third Thor outing? So far we know that Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) will have a significant…

It’s been a busy few days for the Star-Spangled Avenger, first we got a fresh glimpse of what’s a comin’ with the Super Bowl trailer (see below) then we saw the official website go live and now fresh spoilerlicious gossip is making the rounds online. So at this point I urge you, don’t ruin your viewing experience (unless you see it in 3D then I don’t care as clearly neither do you) as Civil War is looking to be the knockout sequel to The Winter Soldier we all hoped for. But …if you’re like me and just can’t resist any new spoiler leaks then give in…

Hot on the heels of Elizabeth Banks joining the 2017 (reboot?) of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers earlier this week, we now have a rare glimpse at the newly formed cast in workout mode in a series of Instagram posts via cast members Dacre Montgomery, Becky Gomez, RJ Cyler and Ludi Lin. Check some of the pictures out below: The rest of the pictures can be found here. Little is known of how the film we be presented to audiences next year, but with Elizabeth Banks (Hunger Games, 30 Rock) playing classic 90s villain Rita Repulsa we just might well be…

It’s not hard for anyone to admit that Ryan Reynolds has more than done his fair share of comic book movies, though it’s also to be said, most won’t be revisiting Blade: Trinity, X-Men Origins, Green Lantern or RIPD anytime soon. But I don’t hold Reynolds accountable either; I’ve always rooted for the Vancouver born actor and really hoped his Green Lantern outing would be his crowning glory.  Yeah anyway moving on… But that’s just fine as it looks like Reynolds has found his true calling. When asked if he would return as Hal Jordan for another Green Lantern outing he said: “I never want to play another comic book…

In 2005, Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard emerged out of the tall shadows of Danny Elfman (who gave us the most iconic theme to the Caped Crusader) to produce a thrilling, claustrophobic and brooding score for Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight. Now I’m not the biggest fan of Joel Schumacher’s entries (but then again WHO IS?) I still have room for Elliot Goldenthal’s contributions to the franchise, even with ‘Batman & Robin’, an epic cinematic score that was WAY better then the movie it was attached too. So as the clouds begin to part for the arrival of ‘Batman…

As our date night with ‘Dawn of Justice’ is only weeks away, we thought we’d add a little alkaline to help neutralize the overly serious trailer for ‘Batman v Superman’ with this playful remake starring Adam West and George Reeves. Could such a movie ever exist? Well very possibly under Schumacher’s reign in the 1990s.  U2’s Bono almost appeared in ‘Batman Forever’ as his MacPhistopersona from the Zoo TV Tour, so maybe Herman Munster isn’t completely out of the question? And the shot by shot comparison: Adam West played his signature Batman role from 1966-68 (the movie appeared in 1966 also)…

Can you believe ‘Titanic’ is almost 19 years old already? It only feels like yesterday when I stood in a long freezing human chain outside the old picture house preparing to witness the sinking of RMS Titanic for myself, albeit through the eyes of Terminator director James Cameron at least. Amidst the awe and human emotion that drove the last act of the movie (and come on, it was intense!) one thing never truly sat right with me, did Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) really need to stay submerged in that freezing 28 °F water? Of course he was quite the gentleman…
