It looks like Supergirl has been renewed for a second season – but not with CBS. The show will head over to The CW and join shows like The Flash and Arrow, a move that was somewhat expected. Here’s what CBS Entertainment Chairman Nina Tassler had to say about the move: “For our network right now, what we did respond to was the character’s humanity, the other characters in the show as well – the story trajectory and the character’s arc and growth. These are all things that made her just imminently relatable, and made the story exciting.” The show’s…

ScreenJunkies have made a name for themselves by making videos called “Honest Trailers”. Most of the time, they focus on bad movies but sometimes do good movies as well – as it’s determined by what fans request. This time, they did Deadpool and it turned out as you probably expected. Wonderfully. What’d you think? Tell us below!

As you’re all very well aware of, everyone on the internet seems to have shared their opinion on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. It seems to be the definition of “mixed reviews” with some fans loving the film and others hating it. Sebastian Stan, the actor who portrays Bucky Barnes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has now weighed in: “I did see Batman v Superman,” he says with a grin, “and I enjoyed it. I think visually it was insane. I thought Ben Affleck was an incredible Batman. I thought that fight sequence he had against all the guys,…

IGN sat down with Captain America screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely and asked them why Tony Stark recruited Spider-Man over other characters such as Charlie Cox (Daredevil). Here’s what they had to say: “I think, he’s been keeping tabs on the world, and he knows about this one kid,” Markus says. “I think in some ways, there’s a motivation having been accused of killing a young kid earlier in the movie to ‘Maybe I can rebuild karmically some of what I’ve lost by helping this kid along.’ And he’s there, and he’s available. And Tony’s desperate.” I think the reasoning…

It appears that the pattern to take the X-Men through random periods of time (X-Men: First Class and Days of Future Past) will be continuing. In a recent comment made to ComingSoon.net, producer Simon Kinberg had this to say: “The next one is set in the ’90s.” While it’s not entirely clear what the producer even meant, this is definitely an interesting comment. He could be referencing the next X-Men movie or the New Mutants spin-off movie. I guess only time will tell. Source: ComingSoon.net What do you think the producer means? Tell us below!

Many were caught off guard when trailers for Captain America: Civil War showed The Vision  wearing a sweater and a bit confused by it. Well, the film’s costume designer, Judianna Makovsky sat down with Vulture to give some insight as to why the character became so stylish for the film: “When I had the first meetings with [directors] Joe and Anthony Russo, we talked about the Vision trying to feel more comfortable at the Avengers compound and trying to fit in. What would that mean? We started out with him more in comfort clothes, like sweats, or something really casual.…

A couple of things have been brought to my attention from a fan who seems to be following Captain Marvel very closely and has basically been connecting the dots on social media. And by connecting the dots, we literally mean connecting every dot. One of the screenwriters for Captain Marvel, Nicole Perlman, very recently followed Emily Carmichael on Twitter. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Camichael, she’s yet to direct a feature film but with how FOX took a chance on Tim Miller directing Deadpool, it’s not out of the realm of possibilities. Okay, so one of the writers frollowed…

About a week or so ago, Karl Urban tweeted that he’d definitely be down to do a Dredd series for Amazon or Netflix. The response has been massive, which should tell you just how much of a following the cult film has built since its initial release back in 2012. Well, apparently, at the Calgary Expo this past weekend, Karl Urban said that “conversations are happening” regarding a potential series for the character: On @netflix or @amazon Dredd series @KarlUrban says “conversations are happening” @Calgaryexpo #CalgaryExpo — Christopher Edwards (@cjsedwards) April 30, 2016 The petition for a Dredd series has…

Every once in a while, there is news that comes along that everyone is excited about. This – this is one of those days. Netflix has officially agreed to order a series for The Punisher, after the great reception the character received for Season 2 of Marvel’s Daredevil. I’d also like to point out that we initially covered this before everyone else. Here’s what Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb had to say: “We want to thank the fans who are clamoring for more of Jon’s stunning and powerful performance as Frank Castle from ‘Marvel’s Daredevil,’” said Executive Producer/Head of…
