You had to know that this day would come. The day that ScreenJunkies gave Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice an honest trailer. Even as a fan of the film, you can’t deny that it divided people. The majority of critics slammed the film while the fan base seemed to be somewhere in the middle, outside of the die hard DC fans who loved the film (others did as well). Either way, the trailer is pretty funny and one that I’m sure we can all enjoy without having an argument in the comment section! Not really. Here’s the trailer: And they…

For years now (that’s right, years) fans have been wanting to see a continuation of the 2012 film Dredd which starred Karl Urban as the popular Judge. There has been a lot of momentum as of late, with demand only becoming more popular, as more and more people discover the film and regret not giving it a chance earlier. In a recent tweet, which can be seen on Karl Urban’s Twitter account, there was a little segment entitled #AskKarlUrban in which he was asked to read a quote while in character as Dredd. HBO has announced that production on Game of Thrones 7th Season will begin this summer and that the show will launch in Summer of 2017 – which is a slight delay from the usual March/April premiere frame. Here’s what HBO Programming President Casey Bloys had to say about it: Now that winter has arrived on Game of Thrones, executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Fans at Comic Con will be able to pick up a new LUKE CAGE poster for the upcoming Netflix series. Here’s what Marvel’s Joe Quesada had to say about the show: “There’s always great pressure with superhero posters… You’ve got one shot to encapsulate a character with a pose that’s provocative and that you hope will someday be iconic.” Quesada also praised the series’ lead, saying, “Mike gives Luke a smoldering strength… He’s sexy and calming. And the ladies love it.” Here’s the poster: Luke Cage premieres on Netflix on September 30th. What do you think of the poster? Sound off below! Source:…
Warner Bros. and DC have released a new video focusing on the creation and the inspiration behind the new Batsuit in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Here’s what costume designer Michael Wilkinson had to say about his approach when creating the suit: “Zack really wanted the costume to look like it had been around for a long time. From head to toe there’s wear and tear, there’s scratches, there’s bulletholes… There’s all sorts of signs that he’s been out there on the streets for a long time.” Geoff Johns added: “The greatest thing about the new costume is that…
We’ve heard a lot about Thanos but haven’t really seen him all that much. We know that something big is coming for Infinity War, though, as it will be Marvel’s biggest movie (Part 1 and 2) to date – and quite possibly the biggest comic book movie ever. Ironhead Studios, who have created all sorts of things for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, have now given us a look at what Thanos would be like with more practical effects and less CGI: I’d say it’s a pretty different look for the character. What do you think of this look? Tell us…
A couple weeks back we saw Independence Day director Roland Emmerich bashing comic book films – even going as far to say that they ripped off his style of directing. Other big name filmmakers have taken shots at the genre as well, saying that it’s just a fad that will die out like the Western (Spielberg). Now, Die Hard director John McTiernan is bashing the genre: “These are films made by fascists,” and “Comic book heroes are for businesses.” He also went on to bash Captain America as a character: “Captain America…The cult of American hyper-masculinity is one of…
Deadpool was a movie that stayed in development Hell for a very, very long time. FOX was scared to make the film due to the R-rated tone that a character like Deadpool needs – and we all saw what happened in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. But – we all got the movie that we wanted in February 2016, so there’s no need to complain any longer. That doesn’t mean that there weren’t other pitches for a Deadpool film. Filmmaker Jeff Wadlow (Kick-Ass 2) pitched a version of the film and Kelton Cram, a professional conceptual artist pitched his idea for Deadpool’s…
