In a recent interview, Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos said that pretty soon, we’ll be guaranteed a new Marvel series twice a year:  “I think ideally there will be a rhythm of about every six months you’ll get a new season or a new series from the Defenders group. And then they’ll crossover into a combined [Defenders] season once we’ve launched the first season of each of the four characters.” With Jessica Jones expected to arrive in the Fall and Luke Cage to begin shooting in early 2016, it’s interesting to see what Netflix and Marvel have in store for us.…

According to a new report by That Hashtag Show, Marvel is in the stages of planning Phase 2 of their Netflix shows and are considering developing a Thunderbolts show. For those of you who don’t know, Thunderbolts are a super team consisting of different villains and anti-heroes who claim to be “reformed”. Some of the characters include include Crossbones, Mister Hyde, Red Hulk, Luke Cage, Bullseye, Elektra, Punisher, even Avengers such as Hawkeye and Black Widow. Norman Osborn has also been featured. If this is true, it could open up the MCU even more and the Netflix Universe would have endless possibilities.…

Empire has unveiled two new images of Batman and Superman for their upcoming issue. The first is the cover of the magazine and the second features Cavill, Affleck and crew member working on the set.
