Avengers: Endgame Mark Ruffalo

Mark Ruffalo Was Given A Fake Script For ‘Avengers: Endgame’

Avengers: Endgame is set to break all kinds of box office records when it opens to the public in just a couple of days. The most anticipated film of all time, the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s culmination of over a decade of interwoven storytelling has been kept mostly secret by clever marketing and tight lips at Marvel Studios. Now, they haven’t been without their issues. BTS leaked photos and toy releases let slip the clues to the time travel theory and the Quantum Realm suits. Not to mention that some of the cast has an issue with “loose lips”. Tom Holland is notorious, but the worst perpetrator has got to be Mark Ruffalo.

Well, it looks like the Russos took the necessary precautions to fix the issue…

While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Ruffalo admitted that the Russos gave him a fake script with dummy scenes in it. Scenes that would never end up being filmed. It’s really hard to leak spoilers, even accidentally, if you don’t actually know what’s going on.

The Russos have even admitted that only one person got a full script, and most only got the sections with their scenes. Hell, Tom Holland wasn’t given a script at all! Ruffalo, though, has done all kinds of “slip ups” to let things leak, even getting “fired” by the Russos!

At this point, early reviews are pretty much confirming what all of us expected; this film is going to be amazing. And, thanks to all the security efforts that Marvel has taken to avoid spoilers, we all get to go in with only the knowledge of the previous 21 films of the MCU. And we’re all better off for it.

Are you happy they gave Ruffalo a dummy script? Be sure to let us know in the comments section down below!
