Avengers: Endgame has been a tour de force in the theaters, rapidly becoming one of the highest grossing movies ever. It is less than 40 million shy of the number one spot, held by Avatar, it has done so in a quarter of the time (Avatar got their total from a 34 week run in cinemas, Endgame has only been in theaters for less than 9). But, Marvel Studios is playing the game smartly, and has decided to re-release the groundbreaking and ambitious film with some new scenes to garner some new interest in checking it out one more time. Now, we may know what we are in store for in this second go round.

Thanks to a tweet from Movie Details, it looks like the new scenes will include a special message from the Russo Brothers, a Stan Lee tribute, a Hulk post credits scene and a sneak peek at Spider-Man: Far From Home. No word on whether the Far From Home sneak peek is the current trailer playing after Endgame in theaters currently, or something brand new for fans. The Hulk scene is definitely intriguing, as many fans felt there is some piece missing from his story.
There has been no official word yet on when the Avengers: Endgame re-release will hit theaters, but the best guess thus far (according to Kevin Feige) has been this coming weekend. Once we know for sure, we will post it here and let the fans know. And, of course, we’ll be first in line to see the film once again. Any excuse to catch a 7th viewing is ok by me.
