First Trailer For ‘BLOODSHOT’ Is Here

Looks like they just couldn’t wait any longer. After the producer for the film told ScreenGeek that the first trailer would be released with Terminator: Dark Fate, the Vin Diesel led Valiant comics superhero movie, BLOODSHOT, has a trailer for the world to see! And, as you can see, be ready for a wild ride!

For those of you unfamiliar with BLOODSHOT, it is the story of a soldier supposedly killed in action, only to be resurrected with a billion nanobots in his system, making him a self regenerating killing machine, capable of healing instantly from just about any wound. However, things aren’t exactly right, and he has to fight to find out just who he really is. In the trailer, we get to see a bit of that now, as the company that enhances him, also seemingly controls his mind to make him the ultimate assassin. Using revenge as a motive, they alter his memories to make each target the person who ‘kills’ his wife. Eventually, the facade fades, and Bloodshot starts to realize that his world isn’t exactly what he thought it was.

On top of a unique premise for a superhero film, the action is intense and incredible. Hell, Bloodshot takes a shotgun blast straight to the face! Imagine Wolverine, but with his powers based in science from billions of microscopic robots rebuilding your body, making him stronger, and instead of losing his memory once, having it wiped over and over and over again. Having it manipulated and altered, basically making you a living weapon at the company’s expense.

It looks Valiant is set to deliver on their promise of a unique take on the superhero genre. And, while the story seems pretty straight forward from the trailer, it may not all be what it seems. Director Dave Wilson and producer Dinesh Shamdasani have said that by the end of the film’s first act, fans will have no idea where the film is going, and will be pleasantly surprised by the end!

BLOODSHOT hits theaters February 21st, 2020.
