‘WandaVision’ Set Photos Reveal Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch Return, SWORD & Adult Monica Rambeau

Disney Plus has already quickly won over a large audience since the streaming platform first launched, many of which are eager to see the upcoming live action Marvel shows after the success of Disney’s series The Mandalorian. While we still have to wait awhile before their live action Marvel shows finally hit the streaming platform, it’s worth mentioning that there will soon be a multitude available to watch over the years – as Disney is currently in production on a variety of different shows. This includes WandaVision, which is currently shooting in Atlanta, Georgia, and you can see some new behind the scenes images from the shoot down below.

As you can see, the images depict actress Elizabeth Olsen taking a break during filming while in her character Scarlet Witch’s costume. Teyonah Parris also makes an appearance as Monica Rambeau, a character previously shown off in a younger version played by Akira Akbar in Captain Marvel.

In addition, the images confirm that the series will introduce S.W.O.R.D., which acts as a sort of intergalactic counterpart to S.H.I.E.L.D. The acronym stands for “Sentient World Observation and Response Department”. Of course, we still don’t know much about the plot for WandaVision – but it is interesting to know this will now play a part in the overall narrative for the upcoming Marvel series.

WandaVision will be available to stream on Disney Plus sometime in 2021. While that’s definitely a long time to wait, it should be worth it in the long run for a quality series that will play a large part in Marvel’s newest and ongoing phase. Hopefully we learn more about the series and its plot as the release date approaches. At least these new behind the scenes photos for WandaVision give a good idea of what’s to come.

What do you think of the behind the scenes images for WandaVision? Are you excited to see the upcoming Marvel series premiere on Disney Plus? Let us know your thoughts on the images in the comments section down below!
