‘A Quiet Place: Part 2’ First Teaser Trailer Released

A Quiet Place, from director John Krasinski, happened to be one of the biggest horror film hits of 2018. The movie surprised audiences with its reliance on suspense and creativity, and fans were immediately eager for a sequel to be made. While it was unclear at first whether or not John Krasinski would return to direct the continuation, he did in fact end up going behind the camera again for at least one more outing. Now while fans wait to see the sequel to A Quiet Place, currently titled A Quiet Place: Part 2, it appears that Blumhouse has stuck an exclusive theatrical teaser for the new movie alongside the release of Black Christmas.

While some fans won’t be able to make it to Black Christmas to see the new teaser, they’ll be happy to know that it’s now been released. As you can see above, the teaser features returning cast members Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe, all of which are reprising their roles from the original 2018 film. After seeing them all back in character, and knowing that director John Krasinski is once again behind this film, it certainly sounds like fans will have a sequel at least as good as the original film was.

Although there still isn’t much known about the upcoming sequel, we do know it’s intended to take place after the events of A Quiet Place with the main surviving cast once more portraying their characters forced to survive in a post-apocalyptic landscape. And, as before, they’ll have to do so quietly as they hide among a race of creatures with ultra-sensitive hearing.

Aside from the returning cast, the film stars Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou.

A Quiet Place: Part II will hit theaters on March 20, 2020.
