‘Clownface’ Trailer Unleashes A Terrifying Killer Clown

There’s something amusing about seeing a horror film that makes use of a fun villain, and with one that wears a clown mask made of human flesh – well, there’s definitely lots of morbid fun to be had. Audiences tend to always love movies that feature killer clowns, and horror fans will have a new one to look forward to with Clownface. As you can see below, in the film’s new trailer, Clownface looks like a rather fun low-budget horror romp!

In the new film titled Clownface…

“A deranged young man, donned in a clown mask made of human flesh, terrorizes a small town with a series of abductions and murders. Neighbors Jenna and Owen search for their missing friend Zoe, who may be the latest victim of this local urban legend known as Clownface.”

It certainly sounds like an interesting plot, and while it isn’t guaranteed to become as instantly iconic as something like Art the Clown from the Terrifier franchise, Clownface does sound like he could be a fun enough antagonist to watch. And, as stated above, horror fans are almost always eager to check out another new horror film with a killer clown. So this movie should certainly scratch that metaphorical itch. Of course, we won’t know for sure until the movie is out – but, luckily enough, that will be incredibly soon.

The new horror film has an interesting cast that stars Thomas Loone (Wuthering Heights), Philip Bailey (Dr. Who, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw), and Hannah Dougles (U Want Me 2 Kill Him?).

Alex Bourne both directed and wrote the screenplay for the upcoming clown horror film.

Wild Eye Releasing will be the distribution label responsible for bringing the film out the audiences this month, with plans for Clownface to be released on both On Demand & DVD on August 18.
