Watch: First Trailer For ‘Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League’

DC Fandome has been a treasure trove of new information and insight into the comic book, film and television worlds of DC Comics. However, these weren’t the only worlds to get some surprises, as some really cool video game news also hit the fans like a freight train. DC has had one of the most successful video games series of all time, the Arkham series, and now the studio behind those tremendous games is back with a brand new game. But this time, you’re not exactly on the side of ‘good’. It looks like fans will get to dabble in the dirty as we’re getting Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League!

Rocksteady revealed the trailer for their brand new game which put you in Task Force X taking on the biggest threat in the universe, the Justice League? From the looks of things, it looks like Brainiac is the true baddie in this game as his ship looms in the background of Metropolis (where the game takes place) and his minions are flying all around the area. So, it would seem that Brainiac has found a way to control the Justice League and use them as his own personal nuclear weapons.

In the trailer, you get to see Superman save a military pilot from a falling helicopter, only to use his heat vision to destroy him. That’s when Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot and King Shark realize that their target is, in fact, Superman himself.

Rocksteady has set up quite a game to follow in the Arkham footsteps. And, in this one, you can play as any of the four ‘heroes’ or do a four person co-op. You can also jump between these options throughout your gameplay, so you’re not locked in to one style for the entire campaign. You’re also not locked into one character the entire time, able to switch around between the four, who all have their own unique abilities. So, get ready to join the Suicide Squad and take on DC’s biggest heroes!
