    Marvel Reveals First Official Footage Of Hailee Steinfeld As Kate Bishop In ‘Hawkeye’

    Marvel have shared the first official footage of Hailee Steinfeld in Disney Plus’ Hawkeye. The highly-anticipated series will see Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton as he trains Kate Bishop — played. by Steinfeld — to take over the name. Steinfeld has long been rumoured to be playing the part, and has even been spotted filming in costume. However, the footage, which was released on Disney’s 2020 Investor Day, is the first official confirmation of her casting.

    Filming for the series is currently underway in New York, with other leaked set photos showing Alaqua Cox as the superhero, Echo. Hawkeye is currently expected to debut on Disney Plus in late 2021.

    A number of other Marvel TV shows were announced during Disney’s 2020 Investor Day, including Ironheart, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Moon Knight and Secret Invasion. The first trailer for the Loki Disney Plus series was also released, proving that the God of Mischief is well and truly back — and fans got the first trailer for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, as well as the latest trailer for WandaVision. 

    The three series’ are all set to be released on Disney Plus in the first half of 2021, beginning with WandaVision on January 15. The Falcon & The Winter Soldier will land on the streaming service on March 19, while Loki is due to debut around two months later in May. What If…? is expected to premiere in the first half of the year, with Ms. Marvel reportedly arriving in the second half. Basically, the MCU is going to be expanding in a very big way in 2021 — and there’s a lot for fans to get excited about.
