MCU Rumor Suggests How ‘Avengers 5’ Will Be Bigger Than ‘Avengers: Endgame’

Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame are two of the biggest Marvel movies to date. In particular, Avengers: Endgame acted as the absolute conclusion to the Infinity Saga. And that means there are some pretty big shoes to fill for whatever Avengers movie comes next. As such, fans might be wondering how exactly Avengers 5 could turn out. Interestingly, a new rumor about Avengers 5 suggests just that – and that the MCU event will be even bigger than Endgame.

Firstly, it’s worth mentioning that this is indeed a rumor. With that in mind, all of this should be taken with a grain of salt. But the Twitter user, Main Middle Man, that revealed this information has had some correct hits in the past. Now, according to the user, it looks like Marvel is actually developing a variety of new Avengers projects.

These projects reported by Main Middle Man include Young Avengers, which would introduce a team of new MCU characters. Obviously, as the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to grow, that makes perfect sense. However, he also suggests that Marvel is also developing a project based on the Dark Avengers. These characters, which first appeared in the comics in 2009, are actually a group of supervillains disguised as superheroes. With the hype over upcoming projects like The Suicide Squad, it makes sense that Marvel would want their own counterpart. But the Avengers hype doesn’t end there.

It’s also being reported that Marvel will develop a project featuring the West Coast Avengers. This makes sense because the West Coast Avengers comics actually helped inspire the White Vision subplot in WandaVision. So with the comics already being used to some degree in the MCU, it makes sense that they could make a proper cinematic appearance at some point.

So while this is mostly one giant rumor about the possibilities for Avengers 5 and beyond, a lot of it does make sense. And considering how much the original MCU Avengers have been through – why not spice things up and add in new teams? After all, if the comics did it, why wouldn’t the films eventually follow suit? Of course, this would likely take many years to go into full effect. But if the seeds are being planted, considering influences like those found in WandaVision, then perhaps we should start expecting to see more Avengers action sooner or later.
