    ‘Captain Marvel 2’ Reportedly Begins Filming Next Week; Working Title Revealed

    The Marvel Cinematic Universe is steadily moving forward with the future of their interwoven stories. Phase 4 began earlier this year with the unique and surprising WandaVision, followed by The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, which is currently half way through its Disney Plus run. Soon we will see Black Widow, Loki, What If…?, and so much more. Marvel is also going full steam ahead on its other projects, with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness currently filming and other films getting ready to start production. One such project is Captain Marvel 2, and we now know its working title and when it begins filming!

    LRM Exclusive released on Twitter that Carol Danvers’ sequel will use the filming title of ‘Goat Rodeo’ for its production. Interestingly enough, this was originally thought to be the working title for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, but it turns out that its working title will actually be ‘Dusty Bunny’.

    Now, working titles typically don’t carry much weight as to what the film’s plot is really about, but they do tend to at least point to something in the movie. In the case of ‘Goat Rodeo’, it is a slang term that stands for a chaotic event where something goes horribly wrong. Could this point to a hellish and hectic sequel for Brie Larson? Honestly, we don’t know anything for sure, but certainly there will be some kind of major conflict, as that is how movies work.

    Obviously there isn’t much known at all of what is going to happen. We do know that both Ms. Marvel and Monica Rambeau will be making appearances. We also know who will play the villain in the film. Once filming begins next week (as reported by Murphy’s Multiverse), we will at least hopefully get a synopsis from Marvel that will give us some insight into what is to come.
