Nicolas Cage is at it again. The actor has become widely-known throughout his career for a variety of stunning and bizarre performances. Now, as you can see below, Nicolas Cage will be unrecognizable in his latest film.
Director Kristoffer Borgli shared several images from the production of his upcoming film Dream Scenario. A few of these images feature Nicolas Cage, where the iconic actor is dressed up for his role as a balding professor. The character even wears a corduroy jacket and a pair of vintage glasses.
Nicolas Cage’s character is the focus of the film. He ultimately appears in everyone’s dreams. Soon enough, he achieves overnight fame, and the plot of the film is set into motion. Additional plot details are being kept under wraps at this point, however, so hopefully we’ll have more details soon.

Kristoffer Borgli both wrote and directed the upcoming film. It’s worth noting that Dream Scenario will also be produced by A24. This marks Nicolas Cage’s first collaboration with the arthouse studio. Of course, one should imagine that the two could get together like peanut butter and jelly – so hopefully it’s just the first collaboration of many to come. Filmmaker Ari Aster is also attached to the project as a producer. Many A24 fans will recognize Ari Aster for his own arthouse projects which include Hereditary and Midsommar, with another film titled Beau is Afraid scheduled to arrive in 2023.
In addition to Nicolas Cage, the cast of Dream Scenario includes Julianne Nicholson, Dylan Baker, Kate Berlant, Michael Cera, Dylan Gelula, and Tim Meadows.
