    Jenna Ortega Shocks Marvel Fans With MCU Appearance

    Jenna Ortega has become a household name with her roles that include the likes of Scream, Wednesday, and the upcoming Beetlejuice 2. What some fans might not realize, however, is that Jenna Ortega actually had an important role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

    Now some Marvel fans are recalling a time that Jenna Ortega, long before she became as popular as she is today, played in Iron Man 3. At 10-years-old, Ortega played the daughter of Vice President Rodriguez (Miguel Ferrer) during the events of the movie.

    It was a small role but obviously an important one given her connection to Ferrer’s character. In fact, he hopes to help his daughter, as she’s disabled with a missing leg. It leads the Vice President into becoming the film’s antagonist, and while he’s ultimately arrested at the end, it goes to show how meaningful Ortega’s character was to the plot.

    So, as you can see below, fans are just now remembering that Jenna Ortega once had a Marvel role:

    Interestingly, Ortega’s name has been brought up elsewhere by Marvel fans. Many fans are hoping that Ortega will have the chance to play the character White Tiger. And while it’s unlikely that it would be as her Iron Man 3 character, audiences would no doubt be happy to see Ortega with an even more recognizable MCU role. And it certainly wouldn’t be the first time that Marvel would use returning actors to play a new character.

    As for when Ortega could appear as the character, that’s currently anyone’s guess. But there are reports that she could appear at some point during the events of Daredevil: Born Again. With her incredibly busy schedule, however, we’ll just have to wait and see how that pans out.
