Over the course of his long comic history, Batman has always had a code of ‘No Killing’, which has always been translated into his live action counterparts. However – it sounds like that may be about to change in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The Oscars may still be weeks away, but it looks like Leonardo DiCaprio may already have his next film already lined up. LenFilm, a Russian film company, has responded to DiCaprio’s recent comments in regards to playing a historical figure by offering him the role of young Vladimir Lenin in a film about his life. We’ve had all the pieces fall into place for the upcoming Doctor Strange film except for one – Strange’s long serving sidekick known as Wong. It was reported last week by The Hollywood Reporter, that the currently filming Doctor Strange was adding The Martian and Marco Polo actor, Benedict Wong to the cast in the role of Strange’s faithful manservant, Wong. Fans have wondered what connection the upcoming Deadpool film will have with the pre-existing X-Men films (Although given Days of Future Pasts recent Retcon, it’s hard to follow the films continuity). The film’s latest TV Spot may shed some light on the matter. We haven’t heard much in regards to the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, but a recent report may have revealed who…or rather what may be the villain. Geek.com has heard from multiple sources that the film will feature an appearance from gargantuan villain, Ego the Living Planet. That’s right, everybody’s favorite team of outlaws will fighting a planet with a face. It’s been rumored for a while that Carol star Cate Blanchett would be joining the cast, although in what capacity is currently unknown, at least until now. The website geek.com is reporting that the actress will in fact be playing Hela, ruler of Hel and Niffleheim, and that she will be the films ‘Big Bad’.
