The world has been having all kinds of new announcements and revelations following the protests that occurred after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Now it seems one of those revelations happens to be the apparent hate crimes that actor Mark Wahlberg faced in his past. The revelation was made after Mark Wahlberg shared a tribute for Black Lives Matter on social media. Apparently his hate crimes had an entire section on Wikipedia. As anyone that’s a fan of Marvel knows, their character The Punisher tends to be one of the most violent and at times even controversial creations. Interestingly, however, this has somehow resulted in his signature Punisher symbol – the iconic skull logo – to become a symbol for Blue Lives Matter, a movement designed to emphasize the importance of police officers. Many companies and organizations have stepped forward during the most recent Black Lives Matters movements, most of which picked up steam following the death of George Floyd. Admirably, Lego is now one of those companies to step forward during the Black Lives Matter movement. This year has been nothing short of the type of dystopian setting you’d expect from a horror film or science-fiction series. Although many of the protests which started after the death of George Floyd have remained peaceful, there have still been a variety of riots and looting on the other hand as well. In fact, one man wearing a mask from the Todd Phillips film Joker even managed to set fire to a police SUV during a protest in Chicago.
