Spider-Man was a great part of Captain America: Civil War, as fans finally got to see the character become part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. What fans might not know, though, is that the character almost had a much different look.
Ryan Meinerding recently revealed some very interesting concept art for the character, and it definitely would have been interesting:

It’s somewhat similar to the alternate black suit that the artist revealed for Spider-Man back in July.
We last saw the character in Spider-Man: Homecoming, which was also loved by both fans and critics alike. As far as when we’ll see the character next, it’ll be in Avengers: Infinity War, a movie you know will be huge, just by reading the synopsis:
An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
Spider-Man will also be a key part of the next phase of Marvel movies, which Kevin Feige has said will be something entirely new after Avengers 4:
“There will be two distinct periods. Everything before Avengers 4 and everything after. I know it will not be in ways people are expecting.”
That is, of course, unless Spider-Man dies in Infinity War, which obviously, is not going to happen – unless Marvel is planning on switching everything up and shocking audiences in a way that they’ve never been shocked before. And also re-casting Tom Holland in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel. It’s just not going to happen.
