Avengers: Infinity War is coming at us fast and strong, but that is also giving more for fans to pick apart before the film even airs. Recently on the Marvel Studios Sub-Reddit, a Reddit user by the name NerdyParker00 pointed out the difference between the two different Infinity War scenes where Spider-Man is present. That seemed to spark a whole new conversation on what may be happening with the Spider-Man suit.
As NerdyParker00 pointed out, there is a difference in images from the back of Spider-Man where one scene he has the new red suit black logo and, in another scene, as he is flipping through the air he has a blue suit red logo. Both from the same view – but one is definitely different than the other. There are multiple reasons this could have happened, and it really is allowing those fans to pump out their theories to help hype up the movie.
Editing error. This could simply be an error on the part of the film makers, they do have a lot of Marvel characters to take care of and they really had a lot of details to pay attention, so its possible they just made a mistake. The back of the suit could really just be blue with a red spider and they edited the wrong color into the other scene, or vice versa.
Theory 2 (My favorite theory):
The editing process on the scene where he is flipping over is done on purpose. Remember we are talking about the Iron Spider in this theory. We are bringing to the attention that legs need to come from somewhere and if the red and black suit were to be shown with such a clear view, we may see how the new suit works. That means it could be purposely edited that way to stop us from seeing too much before the film is released.
It is the same suit and we are seeing things wrong. I may not agree that this theory is true, but there are images out there that are seen differently to different people. While it is most likely not the case here, I had to bring this to attention as many people agreed with this idea and stated that we are seeing the same suit and to “look closer”.
Regardless of what theory is right or if any at all are, we are going to have to wait until April 27th to see the film in all its glory and get the answers we are dying for. Until then, let us respect the fact that we have some excitement built around Infinity War for something as small as a suit change.
What do you think is happening with the suit? We would love to know your theory behind it! Be sure to let us know in the comments below!
