For years now, fans have been eager to see the Marvel Netflix Universe cross over into the film universe, since it’s allegedly all connected within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Yesterday, one of the more bigger castings of the year was confirmed when Josh Brolin joined Deadpool 2 as Cable. The decision was very surprising, as Brolin is currently playing Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Unvierse, as Deadpool is owned by 20th Century Fox. This would seem to point out that maybe his Thanos deal is only a two picture deal or that Disney/Marvel are cool with it. Either way, it was a pretty big surprise. Vin Diesel has played Dom Toretto for so long, that it’s pretty impossible to imagine anyone else playing the Fast and the Furious character. Though, according to a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Producer Neil H. This past weekend, a recent rumor hit the internet stating that WB was currently planning on releasing 4 Batman related films in 2019. Per the rumor: “The plan for 2019 is to release four Batman related films. Gotham City Sirens around Valentine’s Day weekend, Nightwing on Memorial Day weekend, Batgirl in August and The Batman in November. It was reported back in February that Mel Gibson was the favorite to direct the upcoming sequel to Suicide Squad. According to a recent 4chan leak, however, that isn’t the case. Per the leak: “Mel Gibson is no longer the front runner to direct the Suicide Squad sequel. Jaume Collet-Serra and Ruben Fleischer are now the top candidates. The script is currently being written with a story pitch given by Ayer.
