Earlier this week, some upcoming plans were leaked for the future of The DCEU (which seems to be changing all the time) but one thing that was interestingly noted, is that the upcoming Batman film will have Deathstroke – but not as the main villain. Per the latest leak (linked below): “The Batman film will still have Deathstroke but not as a main villain. Matt Reeves wants to do a larger scale Batman film that will include the Bat family as well as most of Batman’s rogues.” This is not only interesting because it’s been reported that Deathstroke will be the…

With non-stop rumors about The Batman, whether it’s that it’s falling apart or that Ben Affleck is leaving the Batman role entirely, it’s been non-stop. Now, a new rumor from 4Chan says that there will be four Batman related films in 2019. Per the leaks: “The plan for 2019 is to release four Batman related films. Gotham City Sirens around Valentine’s Day weekend, Nightwing on Memorial Day weekend, Batgirl in August and The Batman in November. The studio is doing this to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of Batman. In addition, two Batman animated films are also planned for 2019. One will…
For those of you who were young during the late 90’s/early 2000’s, you probably remember a lot of movies being better than what they actually were. That’s not to say that there weren’t a lot of good movies that were released during that time period – but it happens with all of us. One of the movies I remember being “interesting” was Deep Blue Sea. While I didn’t really remember much of it until I re-watched it when it was on HBO a few months back, one scene that stuck with me was this one with Samuel L. Jackson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uz1J9PUcMQ0…
Back in September, we reported on the details of the New Warriors series that Marvel was planning. One of our sources gave us some interesting information about the potential lineup of the upcoming team-up series – that included Squirrel Girl. Now, THR has confirmed the following: “In a competitive situation with other cable and streaming outlets bidding, the younger-skewing Disney-owned cable network has handed out a straight-to-series order for New Warriors, the comic book powerhouse’s first 30-minute live-action comedy. Cougar Town and Scrubs alum Kevin Biegel is near a deal to pen the script and serve as showrunner on the…
Rejoice, Invader Zim fans! The show is finally returning after almost 13 years of nothing happening. It will be a 90 minute TV movie from Jhonen Vasquez. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMnV_eL-D7w&app=desktop Per the EW report: “Jhonen Vasquez’s seminal societal satire Invader Zim will return to Nickelodeon, as the network has just announced greenlight plans for an Invader Zim television movie. Four key original voice cast members — Richard Horvitz (Zim), Rikki Simons (GIR), Andy Berman (Dib), and Melissa Fahn (Gaz) — will return for the 90-minute movie, which picks up on a “perpetually desperate and delusional” Zim hatching a new plan to achieve…
One of the most anticipated releases for 2017 is Spider-Man: Homecoming. It’s the first Spider-Man film to be set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and many are very excited after Tom Holland’s performance in Captain America: Civil War. While speaking to MTV, Holland revealed that he’d like to see a certain Spider-Man villain appear and be played by a very interesting actor: “You know what? Kraven is one of my favorites for a cameo. I always wanted Aquaman to play Kraven, but he’s now DC. I thought that would be super cool.” IF you think about it, the casting would…
The trailer for the upcoming movie adaptation of Stephen King’s popular novel IT was released earlier this week, and buzz could not be higher for the film. The trailer didn’t reveal too much at all but has a very creepy vibe and Pennywise is looking as scary as ever. People who were scared of clowns before will surely be even more scared once the movie comes out. Well, something that is scary in all the wrong ways would be Michael Myers’ Cat in the Hat film from 2005. The film was critically panned and it was assumed that the version…
In a day full of fake news, one thing is certain. That’s that Nicolas Cage has been confirmed as Hugh Jackman’s replacement for the role of The Wolverine. The role has been played for 17 years by Jackman, and most thought that FOX would hold off on casting the character so soon. I mean, Logan is STILL in theaters! But Fox will be Fox, I guess. In a recent conversation with our very exclusive source, we were told the following: “FOX wanted someone that could really channel their inner rage for the role of Wolverine. After a lot of careful…
After Brad Pitt was revealed to have dropped out of the role of Cable in the upcoming Deadpool sequel, the producers went back to the drawing board. And apparently, they began their search with watching 2011’s Moneyball. In a time where rumors are running wild, it’s good to finally get some closure on this very sought after role. While it may not be the choice you were expecting, we can all agree that it’s good it’s finally over with. An anonymous source has revealed the following to us: “The producers went in and watched Moneyball together and decided that they would…
The first trailer for the upcoming IT remake has finally been released. After a series of posters and teasers, it’s finally here. The general atmosphere of the trailer reminds me of Sinister, so it definitely has that going for it. One thing noticeably (and understandably) not really present in the preview is Pennywise The Clown. We just get a few glimpses of the character and don’t ever hear him speak. The casting appears to be on point with all the children, though. It does appear that they’re going for a much, much darker tone than the original film from 1990…
