Though this may be considered old news, it can also be considered forgotten news. Long before Logan was even called Logan, and was simply referred to as Wolverine 3, Hugh Jackman was asked who he thought would be a good replacement for him as the character. His response would seem to please a lot of fans, as I’ve seen the name floated around in a lot of fan casts and fan art and personally, though I wouldn’t want to see Wolverine on the big screen any time soon, I have to agree with Jackman. While speaking with MTV back in…

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was easily the most talked about film of 2016. Whether people were praising it or just bashing it in general, almost everyone had a very strong opinion of the film. I’ll admit that I was skeptical of seeing the film after all of the bashing I had read, so I waited until the Ultimate Cut came out to watch it. I’ve watched both films and can definitely say that the Ultimate Cut is a much, much better film. Sure, the film has it’s problems (what film doesn’t?) and I’ll never quite understand why they…

The first reviews for Marvel’s Iron Fist are in – and the general consensus is that the show isn’t very good. Here are some of the notable ones. THR:”After three straight creative successes, three above-average character introductions, the partnership between Marvel and Netflix was due for a dud. This isn’t to say that Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage have been shows without flaws… Each show, though, has had virtues of tone and aspiration that made it feel like a complicated superhero TV code had been cracked. [Iron Fist] feels like a step backward on every level, a major disappointment that already suffers from storytelling issues through the…

The general consensus is that Logan was an amazing film and the proper send-off for long time Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman. It didn’t hold anything back and was the hard-R that the character (and Jackman) deserved. Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn watched the film over the weekend (like everyone else) and shared his thoughts: https://twitter.com/JamesGunn/status/838523613439369216 If you haven’t seen Logan yet – what are you waiting for? In 2024 the mutant population has shrunk significantly and the X-Men have disbanded. Logan, whose power to self-heal is dwindling, has surrendered himself to alcohol and now earns a living as…
