While the general consensus is that The Dark Knight trilogy is a masterpiece – one person apparently doesn’t feel that way about his performance in the films. Christian Bale. While promoting his latest film, Knight of Cups, he expressed disappointment in his portrayal of Batman: “I didn’t quite manage what I hoped I would throughout the trilogy,” Bale told Yahoo Movies (watch above). “Chris did, but my own sense of self is like, ‘I didn’t quite nail it.” He also offered some input on Heath Ledger’s performance: “Heath turned up, and just kind of completely ruined all my plans,” Bale said.…

Fans recently launched a petition for J.K. Simmons to return as J. Jonah Jameson for the Spider-Man reboot – which isn’t really a bad idea considering how well he played the character. The petition reads: Some people aren’t too fond of Raimi’s Original Spider-Man Trilogy, others, like me, love it in spite of its flaws (in particular the first and second installments); however, the general consensus on Joseph Jonah Jameson’s character in those films…

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be getting an “Ultimate Edition” blu-ray release – with an R-rating according to the Classifications and Ratings Administration. The R-rated cut is definitely unexpected but certainly not surprising given the recent success of Deadpool (which I realize wasn’t only successful because of its rating – but you know how studios get). One can only hope that Suicide Squad will also have an R-rated cut as well. Source: Classifications and Ratings Administration What do you think of this news? Sound off below!
