It’s been rumored Since Skyfall’s 2012 release that he would probably only do one more film, and then say goodbye to the iconic character. And now, an anonymous source is telling the UK’s Daily Mail that Craig has made his mind up. “Daniel is done – pure and simple – he told the top brass at MGM after Spectre,” the source says. “They threw huge amounts of money at him, but it just wasn’t what he wanted. He had told people during shooting that this would be his final outing, but the film company still felt he would come…

When Iron Man 3 was released in 2013, moviegoers liked it well enough, save for one glaring flaw. The film’s portrayal of Tony Stark’s nemesis, the Mandarin, threw fans for a loop. In the comics, Mandarin is A) Chinese, B) in possession of ten magical rings, and C) not a drunken buffoon. In the film, however, he was ambiguously Middle Eastern, wore a few rings but made no mention of their power, and turned out to be an out of work alcoholic actor who was hired by persons unknown to portray a villain on film. Yes, that happened, to Marvel’s…

The future of DC’s “Aquaman” movie has been hanging in the balance since Friday, when it was reported that director James Wan was “feeling a tremendous amount of trepidation” about helming the film. His possible reasons weren’t listed, but we can think of a few. Being in charge of a big-budget tentpole flick has to be incredibly stressful. However, having directed “The Conjuring” and “Furious 7,” he’s no stranger to hits. So that one seems unlikely. There’s also the possibility that he’s nervous about DC’s incredibly high expectations. BvS’s nearly million-dollar haul has been called a disappointment more than…

For the last several weeks, fans have been discussing the pros and cons of casting Daisy Ridley as Lara Croft. Some believed she was perfect for the role, while others saw her as too inexperienced. Others thought she would simply be too busy with episodes 8 and 9 of Star Wars. Unfortunately for those in favor of Ridley’s casting, those points are now moot. Alicia Vikander was officially announced today as the new Lara in Warner Bros’ upcoming reboot. Best known for her award-nominated roles in Ex-Machina, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., and her Oscar-winning turn in The Danish Girl, Vikander…

We’re about to get our first look at Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in “Captain America: Civil War” on May 6. Just a few weeks later, production starts on his first solo film, which we now know will be titled “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” Unfortunately, cameras will have to roll without the most talented actor rumored to be a part of the cast. Last week, we told you Michael Keaton was in talks to play the film’s main villain. However, Deadline reported today that Keaton had “fallen out of early talks, and won’t be a part of the project.” This is certainly disappointing, given…

Guardians of the Galaxy” director James Gunn hosted a Facebook Q&A on Saturday. Among the many questions asked by fans, one inquiry was the age-old question about the most physically powerful beings in their respective universes: Who would win in a fight between Superman and the Hulk? “The Man of Steel is much more powerful than the Hulk,” he replied. Marvel fans promptly went bonkers, but Gunn’s statement is most likely true. While the not-so-jolly green giant could certainly take any earth-born creature, the Son of Krypton is another matter entirely. He can knock planets out of orbit – no…
