The ongoing Coronavirus pandemic has been a fascinating and disappointing addition to 2020. On one hand, it’s forced a creative new way of living for many people – and as a result has pushed things like streaming, working from home, and other alternatives into the mainstream. As we previously reported, actor Johnny Depp’s lawsuit including his ex-wife, actress Amber Heard, has brought to light a whole batch of new revelations. For one thing, Johnny Depp has accused Amber Heard of having had an affair with Elon Musk while the two were still married. Many Judge Dredd fans have been waiting an extremely long time for Mega-City One, the latest attempt to revive the Dredd franchise for the screen. Mega-City One is intended to be a massive new series that’s been in development from Rebellion ever since the show was announced in 2017. Now Rebellion’s CEO Jason Kingsley has finally been able to give an update on the series. It isn’t very often that shoe designers tend to whip up shoes inspired by horror icons Jason Voorhees of Friday the 13th and Freddy Krueger of A Nightmare on Elm Street. But shoe designer Warren Lotas has stepped up to the challenge. As you can see, the custom Nike shoes have the red and green color palette commonly associated with Freddy Krueger, while the iconic Nike “swoosh” logo is present with the image of Jason Voorhees’ memorable hockey mask. The Coronavirus pandemic has everyone anxious for things to go back to normal, or at least enough so that production can resume on some of Hollywood’s biggest upcoming projects.
