Marvel has today announced two new shows based around the X-Men franchise. The first is Legion, which will be coming to FX, which will center on David Haller, the son of Charles Xavier. UFC Champion Ronda Rousey has revealed that she already has a plan in place to secure the coveted role of Carol Danvers in the 2019 Marvel Film, Captain Marvel. Rousey first threw her hat in to the Captain Marvel ring several months ago, with news even spreading as far as Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige, who responded positively to her campaign. This weekend, four members of the cancelled cult favorite Firefly were on hand at the New York Comic Con to discuss the show to a room full of fans. When asked whether they would be willing to return the series if a second season was to be greenlit, they all seemed enthusiastic. A new rumor making the rounds today has Marvel fans buzzing — and it centers on none other than everyone’s favorite green goliath. According to a new report, sources claim that Mark Ruffalo is being lined up to join Chris Hemsworth in Marvel’s third Thor installment, Thor: Ragnarok. The voice of Groot, Vin Diesel has once again fanned rumors that he may be playing the Inhuman King. The New York Comic Con brought a lot of interesting teases about the upcoming Jessica Jones Netflix Series, including an appearance from Nuke, the deranged super soldier who first appeared in Daredevil back in 1986. Speaking at the event, actor Wil Traval told IGN that he is playing a character called ‘Simpson’ who is based on the ‘Post Vietnam War, Psycho Super Soldiers’ albeit with a slightly ‘Reivented’ origin for the series.
