It was announced back in March that the classic 1999 film The Matrix starring Keanu Reeves would be getting a reboot. Fans were understandably annoyed, as the movie is one that doesn’t seem like it needs a reboot. Neo himself, Keanu Reeves, was asked about the film and had the following to say at New York Comic Con: “Remaking The Matrix. I don’t know. Maybe it’s… I don’t know anything about it.” It prompted screenwriter Zak Penn to say the following on Twitter: 1) Re: the Matrix, yes I’m writing something. Not a reboot, not a continuation, watch Animatrix, read comics…

Stan Lee has a new message for The Marvel Universe, and it’s one that doesn’t have any room for social oppression of any kind. The Marvel legend posted this message just yesterday: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjobevGAYHQ&feature=youtu.be It’s a very good message, and here’s a great part of it: “The only things we don’t have room for, are hatred, intolerance and bigotry. That man next to you – he’s your brother. That woman over there – she’s your sister. And that kid walking by – hey, who knows, he may have the proportionate strength of a spider! We’re all part of one big family…

It was reported yesterday that Marvel’s The Punisher would be pulled from New York Comic Con after the Las Vegas shooting that happened earlier this week, with the following statement: “We are stunned and saddened by this week’s senseless act in Las Vegas. After careful consideration, Netflix and Marvel have decided it wouldn’t be appropriate for Marvel’s The Punisher to participate in New York Comic Con. Our thoughts continue to be with the victims and those affected by this tragedy.” Personally, I thought it was a sign that the show would be delayed, and now, that is apparently the case: Have heard:…

In a move that shouldn’t really come as a surprise, Marvel’s The Punisher has been pulled from New York City Comic Con after the horrific shooting that happened in Las Vegas earlier this week. This year’s IT movie has been a massive success – due in large part to Bill Skarsgård’s performance as Pennywise the Clown. That isn’t to say that director Andy Muschietti doesn’t deserve a good portion of the credit, as it was his vision that ultimately ended up on screen. In a new interview with AFI, the director revealed how he constructed it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWzXSGLlpCM Pennywise’s crossed eyes are definitely unsettling – as Muschietti previously revealed that he was shocked to learn Skarsgård could do it on his own: “I told Bill, ‘I want it in both directions, I want you to send…

2004’s Seed of Chucky was undoubtedly a divisive film. Not everyone hated it, but not everyone loved it. While speaking about Cult of Chucky, Don Mancini took some time to defend the film in an interview with Entertainment Weekly: “That’s the one that honestly, its reputation has grown the most, arguably because it had the furthest to go.” He added: “I mean, slamming doors and all of that. And I think that turned a lot of people off, I guess. I’m sorry! But, as a gay guy, I love the fact that over the years, [to] the people who saw that…
