CBS just recently released three new clips from Supergirl’s upcoming episode and BleedingCool seems to think they could be referencing the very dark DC Comics character known as Lobo. Here’s what they said: Wait… did the Supergirl TV series just reference Lobo? In the first of three clips from the next episode, Truth, Justice and the American Way, an armored man took one of the prisoners that the DEO was hunting. J’onn J’onzz suggests that it could be an interstellar bounty hunter to which Alex Danvers asks about a specific “him” and John says no, we’d know if he was in…

20th Century Fox has revealed that they will be targeting an R-rating for Hugh Jackman’s final Wolverine film. It would seem that this news is in large part due to the fact that Deadpool was a massive success and was a hard-R comic film. It was revealed in a pamphlet at Toy Fair 2016: It looks like (aside from obvious characters owned by Marvel Studios) that FOX is trying to please the fans by giving them an Old Man Logan story – and a chance to unleash Wolverine as the violent character that has been held back by the PG-13…
After the massive success of the Deadpool movie, it’s no surprised that actors (and others) are now starting to lobby for the role of Cable in the sequel. Stephen Lang recently started to campaign for the role and now it looks like fans want someone else for the role – with a little less acting experience. Kevin Nash. That’s right, the 6’8 former wrestling star has now (sort of) added his name to the mix of actors that are intrigued by the role. Check out the picture: Personally, I think it’d be a good fit. “You know you’re one bad day away from being me…” One of the many great lines that The Punisher says to Daredevil in this trailer – some of which as if it were ripped straight out of a comic book. Check it out below: What’d you think of the trailer? Sound off below!
Deadpool has debuted to an international total of about $260 million dollars – with $125 million from foreign markets and $135 million domestically. Obviously, that means that Deadpool is a huge success. It had one of the most successful openings for a comic book movie ever and it is also already the second highest grossing R-rated comic film of all time. Already! Other films opened this weekend such as Zoolander 2 and How To Be Single – but who actually watched those? I guess some did as Zoolander opened to $15.6 million and Single opened to $18.7 million. Pale in…
Deadpool was originally projected to make $70 million for its opening weekend but now is on pace to demolish that number entirely. The film made $12.7 million during the Thursday night “preview showings” and on Friday it made $47.5 million alone – more than half of its weekend projection. That’s a new record for an R-rated film and for February. The film has received a very positive reaction from fans and critics alike and considering that the film was made for about $60 million – there should definitely be no doubts about a sequel.
