As each of the five planned shows of the Netflix/Marvel partnership have arrived on our screens, their developing little corner of the MCU has become just that little bit bigger. This in turn has made trying to co-ordinate the overall ‘Defenders’ narrative that links them together just that little bit more difficult. And that’s not even taking into account the newly commissioned ‘Punisher’ series, which is currently filming in and around New York. So far the company has rigidly stuck to the release of two shows per year, with 2015 seeing the first seasons of ‘Daredevil’ and ‘Jessica Jones’, and…

It’s been another busy old week for fans of Frank Castle. First up, a series of new set-photos landed courtesy of Getty Images, which showed British actress Amber Rose in character as CIA Agent Dinah Madani. If that wasn’t exciting enough, she was also joined by the as-yet unannounced Michael Nathanson (Wolf of Wall Street, The Knick), who appeared to be playing an unnamed fellow CIA agent. Speculation about the identity of Nathanson’s character pointed towards him possibly being a version of Agent Bill Roth, a shady agency operator who ends up with his testicles floating in a coffee cup…

The set photos from ‘The Punisher’ just keep on coming (God bless the Internet!), and a couple more have now landed, courtesy of Getty Images, which finally reveal British actress Amber Rose in character as CIA Agent Dinah Madani. Rose can be seen in the snaps alongside actor Michael Nathanson (Wolf of Wall Street, The Knick), who appears to be playing a fellow agent, and the two characters are moodily sharing a coffee in and around some police land cruisers. The description of Agent Madani in the production notes make her sound suspiciously like an updated version of Agent Kathryn…

People just can’t get enough of The Punisher right now. There’s a phrase you thought you might never hear in the aftermath of some of the previous big-screen outings of the character, and yet it’s quite factual. The most hyper-violent and notorious anti-hero ever to grace the pages of Marvel Comics is now rapidly becoming one of the company’s most critically acclaimed MCU properties, thanks in no small part to an achingly emotional performance which stole the show in this year’s second season of ‘Daredevil’. The fans watched in awe as Jon Bernthal went deep down into places never before…

Initial filming is already well underway for the newly commissioned Netflix series ‘The Punisher’, which has tentatively been scheduled by the streaming ompany for an arrival at some point in 2017. This didn’t stop Jon Bernthal from making time for a brief, yet eventful appearance at NYCC last week. One of the highlights was seeing this new incarnation of Frank Castle pausing for photos with Diego Luna, who has recently made his debut as the new Ghost Rider in ‘Agents Of SHIELD’. Bernthal also managed to raise a few laughs in the hall when he predicted during an interview that…

So here it is then. Two months prior to its December 16th release date, the last trailer for Star Wars prequel ‘Rogue One’ has dropped, and it’s nothing short of amazing. Absolutely crammed full of action shots and character close-ups, it maps out everything that the fans can expect from the first live-action prequel material to be conceived and filmed since ‘Revenge Of The Sith’ landed in cinemas 11 long years ago. It’s gritty. It’s tense. And it looks every bit as impressive as we’d been hoping, particularly with those foreboding rumors about clashes between Gareth Edwards and Disney, and…

It had already been announced that Jonny Bernthal would be limited in how much he could actually commit to the convention, as he was rumored to have already commenced…
