After all the news and rumors about Deadpool in the past few weeks, it’s time to start speculating about the important aspects of what we have in store for us for Deadpool’s cinematic future. Will Deadpool 2 come out in 2018? Will Domino be in it? Who will play Cable? Will Deadpool have a crossover with the X-Men? Will he be in X-Force? But out of all those questions, there is one that burns more brightly and more passionately than any other: Who’s Deadpool going to be shacking up with in his next appearances? This would seem like a simple question, considering the…

2015 was undeniably one of the best years for movies in a really long time. Films that are sure to become classics like Mad Max, Kingsman: The Secret Service, and Inside Out all made huge marks and will be remembered decades from now. We received several mega-hit franchise revivals in the forms of Creed, Star Wars, and Jurassic World, helping studios rake in cash and ensuring that we will get dozens of sequels for years to come. We even got some unexpectedly-great movies like Spongebob: Sponge Out of Water, The Intern and The Martian that broke out. Oscar movies like…

There’s a new rumor about Deadpool 2. Yeah, it’s probably not true, considering the script probably hasn’t even been started yet, but it’s an exciting one nonetheless. It suggests that the X-Men character Domino will be joining the cast for the upcoming Deadpool sequel. It’s probably just an educated guess, but hopefully it’s real. Domino, for those that don’t know, is a longtime partner of Cable and Deadpool on their adventures. Domino was very closely linked to Cable’s adventures in the 90s and 00s, including being his love interest at one point. Her mutant power is the ability to manipulate…

I don’t know what anyone else was expecting. But it looks like, after everything else,  Slimer, the classic Ghosbusters ghost, is probably going to be appearing in the new Ghostbusters movie. There have been rumors in the past that Slimber was going to appear in Ghostbusters, though director Paul Feig apparently debunked them at some point. However, several sources confirmed that Slimer will actually be appearing after all, despite Feig’s comments. He hasn’t been in any of the marketing material so far, but we do finally have full confirmation that Slimer will indeed be appearing in the new Ghostbusters.…

Several characters have been confirmed to appear in Thor: Ragnarok and it’s already shaping up to be a massive film. Thor and Hulk are expected to be the main characters of the movie in a sort of “universal road trip”, and Cate Blanchett is playing the villain Hela. However, we still don’t know much else about the movie yet; all we have now is confirmation of one character that will NOT be appearing in the next Thor movie: Stellen Skarsgård’s character Erik Selvig. He appeared in both Thor movies as well as in both Avengers movies, so he’s become a bit of…

Deadpool isn’t getting a director’s cut, as the official word made clear, but there were indeed a lot of deleted scenes and a lot of cut content from the movie that would be very interesting to see. The Youtube channel Mr. Movie Sunday detailed a lot of the stuff from Deadpool that we didn’t get to see. The list includes deleted scenes such as: Wade travelling the world trying to get a cure for his cancer and being swindled out of his money Wade, after the mutation, trying to kill himself in a montage, but continuously failing due to…

Deadpool has a metric ton of references, easter eggs, and blink-and-you’ll-miss-them jokes. But which one almost couldn’t happen due to legal reasons? Spoilers for Deadpool ahead. Obviously. Like, why are you even on this page if you haven’t seen the movie yet? At the climax of the movie, Deadpool savagely kills most of the mercenaries working for Ajax, but at the last second, he stops from killing one of them that he worked with on an assignment (the one in Jacksonville, which apparently involved a TGI Friday’s somehow). That guy he saved was named Bob, who is an obvious…

While Deadpool’s absolutely massive $135 million opening weekend is the biggest-ever for a rated-R movie, one of the biggest superhero debuts ever, and is sure to spawn a new successful sub-franchise for the X-Men movies, James Gunn has taken to a rant about the movie. Not the movie itself, mind you, but about the way that the movie might be influential for blockbuster movies going forward. Everyone was pleasantly surprised that an R-rated movie could open over President’s Day weekend to such big numbers when most PG-13 blockbusters can’t open that big during the summer, but James Gunn doesn’t think…

With all the exciting news to come out about X-Men: Apocalypse and Deadpool lately, it’s easy to forget that Fox is currently developing multiple new X-Men TV series. The first series to get its pilot filmed, Legion, has now found its lead actor. Dan Stevens, of Downton Abbey and Beauty and the Beast (2017) fame, has now been cast as David Haller, the schizophrenic son of Charles Xavier and the protagonist of the TV series. Aubrey Plaza, Jean Smart, and Rachel Keller have all also been cast, and the pilot is looking to begin filming in March. Will it be…

After years and years of rumors, speculation, false starts, and noncommittal responses, Blade Runner 2 is officially going to begin production. Earlier in 2015, Ridley Scott announced that Blade Runner 2 was going to be made, though not under his direction because of the three Prometheus sequels/Alien prequels that he is shooting back-to-back. This led some to believe that the movie was still nothing but a pipe dream, but it turns out that it really is going to happen. The movie, starring Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling, will begin filming this July, nearly thirty-five years after the original’s release. It…
