Blumhouse’s upcoming Halloween movie has a lot of reasons for fans to be excited, one of which is the return of original Michael Myers actor Nick Castle. One of director Uwe Boll’s most well-known films happens to share a name with an upcoming blockbuster – Rampage. While the two films are completely different, Boll has taken to Twitter to complain that the new film not only stole his title, but that the font on the poster was the same as his as well. “Fuck this new fake Rampage movie,” Boll posted on Friday. “Uwe Boll is going to sue Warner Bros. asshole. Totally serious. Will update soon.” Boll moved matters to his official website, where he ranted almost incoherently about the new Rampage. “We are living now…

It’s been quite a few years since our last live-action encounter with the Scooby-Doo gang. Now it seems we’ll be getting another prequel, albeit we’re missing a few members. This time Daphne Blake and Velma Dinkley are the focus, giving insight into how they became friends and mystery solvers. Of course you shouldn’t expect a big-budget theatrical release for this; in fact, it shows quite clearly in the quality that it’s going direct-to-video. But hey, that’s not a bad thing. Many of the best Scooby-Doo films were direct-to-video. Zombie Island, anyone? Here’s the new trailer, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly. In…

About this time last year, we were going to see production start on an all-new Friday the 13th movie. It would’ve been the first film to be released in almost a decade since the 2009 remake, the longest stretch in time between movies that the franchise has seen since 1980. But, as fate would have it, the film was prematurely cancelled and we wound up with absolutely nothing. Now the rights are set to revert back to Warner Bros., unless Victor Miller somehow prevents that with a lawsuit regarding the copyrights. It’s definitely a chaotic and upsetting time for the…

On St. Patrick’s Day we learned that Syfy was developing a new sequel to the original Leprechaun film from 1993. It will ignore all other entries in the franchise, showing the first Leprechaun being revived 25 years later – and interestingly enough no longer played by Warwick Davis. Instead this incarnation of the Leprechaun will be played by Linden Porco. We already saw Porco in his Leprechaun makeup and attire with Syfy’s teaser video, but this actually isn’t Porco’s first venture into acting or the horror genre. The actor got his start because of his “cartilage-hair hypoplasia, a form of dwarfism that stunts…
