This past week, Chris Hardwick was accused of sexual and emotional abuse by ex-girlfriend Chloe Dykstra. It took the internet by storm, and resulted in Hardwick’s career in the film industry seemingly being over in a matter of days. Hardwick denied the allegations, saying: “These are very serious allegations and not to be taken lightly which is why I’ve taken the day to consider how to respond. I was heartbroken to read Chloe’s post. Our three year relationship was not perfect—we were ultimately not a good match and argued—even shouted at each other—but I loved her, and did my best…

Escape Plan 2 was a bit of a surprise announcement, as Escape Plan wasn’t really a major hit. Regardless, people seemed pretty interested. Officially titled, Escape Plan 2: Hades, the film features Sylvester Stallone and Dave Bautista, though Arnold Schwarzenegger didn’t return. It doesn’t look like he made the wrong choice – as according to early reviews, it’s not that good at all. Though there are no critic reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, the audience score for the film is a 22% and the IMDb rating sits at 3.2 out of 10. I’ll admit that I didn’t even know the film…

Avengers 4 is currently still untitled, with no one really knowing when we will hear what the official title is. It had been rumored that the title could be Avengers: Fallen Heroes, which is a perfectly logical title, but apparently – that’s not the case. According to MCU Cosmic: Following CineEurope yesterday, Twitter and Reddit have been flooded with fake Avengers 4 titles with hoaxers trying to claim that they have a leaked picture of the title. Except Marvel didn’t reveal the title there. They only referred to the movie as “Untitled Avengers” That means the movie is not called “Fallen Heroes”. Or “Heroes…

Blumhouse’s Unfriended: Dark Web is a surprise sequel that many didn’t expect to happen. Not because it didn’t make enough money, but because it just wasn’t really a hit with audiences. Regardless, the sequel is on the way, and we have the first trailer and poster for it! It’s been a while since we last saw Luke Cage in the first season of his solo series, though we did get to see the character pop up in The Defenders last Summer. Many are in agreement that while the first season of the character’s show was good – it wasn’t great, mainly due to the fact that it seemed to drag on, and killed off a great villain. Mike Colter made a great Luke Cage, though. Apparently the creators listened, as Season 2 of the show currently has a 100% at on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing…

Avengers: Infinity War and Justice League were two very big movies featuring a ton of iconic characters. Justice League, however, was considered a disaster, and sent the DCEU back to the drawing board. Infinity War was pretty much the exact opposite. So what should DC do, exactly? The writers of IW may have the answer. Kevin Smith recently asked the writers of the film, Christopher Markus and Steven McFeely, what they’d do to fix the DCEU – and they had some interesting answers. Markus: “I would look at what Marvel did, out of necessity, in that they didnt have their…

Many fans have been wondering how a Venom movie will work without Spider-Man in it. Though rumors of Tom Holland’s character making a cameo appearance have surfaced, nothing on that has been confirmed. When Venom’s director, Ruben Fleischer, was asked about that possibility, he gave a very vague response. While speaking to Empire, the director said: “This feels very much like Venom‘s movie. It’s the introduction of the character. As to where it will go in future movies, and who he’ll run across, I can’t say.” That sounds about like what most of us were probably expecting, as Spider-Man is currently in…
