Escape Plan 2 was a bit of a surprise announcement, as Escape Plan wasn’t really a major hit. Regardless, people seemed pretty interested. Avengers 4 is currently still untitled, with no one really knowing when we will hear what the official title is. Last week, it was revealed that Wonder Woman 1984 would be the title of the upcoming Wonder Woman sequel. We were given our first look at Gal Gadot as Diana Prince, as well as the surprise return of Chris Pine. We weren’t, however, given a look at the title character of the upcoming film. Blumhouse’s Unfriended: Dark Web is a surprise sequel that many didn’t expect to happen. Not because it didn’t make enough money, but because it just wasn’t really a hit with audiences. It had a positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but its IMDB rating is a 5.6 out of 10, and its CinemaScore is a 37%. Hereditary sort of comes to mind, doesn’t it? It’s been a while since we last saw Luke Cage in the first season of his solo series, though we did get to see the character pop up in The Defenders last Summer. Many are in agreement that while the first season of the character’s show was good – it wasn’t great, mainly due to the fact that it seemed to drag on, and killed off a great villain. Many fans have been wondering how a Venom movie will work without Spider-Man in it.
