Deadpool 2 had its second trailer released today, and there were comments. There always are. And while we can’t escape that reality, the trailer gives it a good shot at helping us escape while finally showing us more of Domino and Cable. If you escaped far enough, you might have noticed some cameos. Bedlam and Shatterstar were seen and even Bill Skarsgård – but you might have missed Barack Obama.
In the scene where Wade Wilson is goofing around in Professor Xavier’s motorized wheelchair at the mansion, former President Obama’s White House portrait is on the wall for all to see. The cameo wasn’t Obama in the flesh, but it confirms that both Abe Lincoln and Obama exist in Fox’s Deadpool world.

It would have been interesting seeing him in the film, but we haven’t heard the last of the Obamas’ in entertainment. They are currently in negotiations with Netflix for some original content.
Deadpool 2 has some fairly good scores on the film critic sites. In some cases, it is only behind the Avengers movies in anticipation. It is set to premiere May 18th. Other X-Men movies coming soon include X-Men: Dark Phoenix on November 1st, The New Mutants on February 22, 2019, and Gambit on June 7, 2019.
While we wait for that to come out, here is their bonkers synopsis for your reading pleasure:
After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.
What did you think of the cameo? Be sure to tell us your thought sin the comments!
