Wreck-it Ralph already has a pretty major fan-base. Of course, Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-it Ralph 2—a really long movie title if you ask me—already has a lot of hype surrounding it stemming from the popularity of the first one. As if it needed any more hype, Disney has confirmed Gal Gadot will join the cast. The character she will voice is named Shank, and the studio has released a description of who the new racer is: Ralph and Vanellope encounter Shank and her unusual cohorts when they venture to the internet in search of a replacement part for Vanellope’s…

Justice League fans and haters alike can’t seem to let their opinions of the film fade away like the conversation around other films as time passes. While the haters have lots of ammunition and use it gleefully, fans cling to anything they can use to justify the making of it. Jason Momoa might be their real-life superhero, because he has given them something to believe in—not that they could stop believing. In case you’ve been living under a rock, Justice League has been ridiculed for its massive budget for the horrible use of CGI to remove Henry Cavill’s moustache, making…

Star Wars: Episode IX will bring back two major characters, Disney and Lucasfilm have announced. Lando Calrissian, who Billy Dee Williams will come back to play, and Leia Organa, played by the late Carrie Fisher, will appear in the last film in the Skywalker saga. Though Fisher died in 2016 at the age of 60, this is made possible with footage that wasn’t released from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Another person who will make an appearance after a seemingly final ending in Star Wars: The Last Jedi is Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker. Anthony Daniels will come back…

Whether people like the idea of a standalone Venom movie or not, it has caused a lot of debate and commentary. Usually, standalone movies are awarded to the heroes. No one really like the villains all that much anyway. Eddie Brock seems to have broken the mold. With Peter Parker otherwise occupied, or nonexistent really, Sony has decided to continue with the film instead of waiting to see what happens on the MCU side of things. While it’s release is months away, the film’s director, Ruben Fleischer, is already being asked about the likelihood of a sequel. Venom has been…

Avengers 4 has been called a few things since Infinity War came out, but not by its real name. That’s because it still doesn’t have one. It is due to release in May of 2019, and while some people are calling it the most anticipated movie of 2019 or a shoe-in, Kevin Feige is calling it a “definitive ending” to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as it stands. Not many people knew at the time how Infinity War would play out, so that comment might have seemed ambiguous. However, it has resurfaced on Reddit overnight, and it is interesting to think…

Thanos has undergone some changes since we first saw him on screen in the post-credit scene of 2012’s The Avengers. There are a few reasons why. Back then, the Mad Titan was a different color. His skin was a reddish-purple instead of the pale, almost pink color we saw in Avengers: Infinity War. He also had a purple and gold helmet, and body armor, which made him look royal. Even his eye color is different. It seems the only thing they kept was his outlandishly huge chin. Though studios tend to make their CGI characters resemble the voice actor playing…

Avengers: Infinity War was too much for one fan who died while watching the record-breaking superhero film on Tuesday. The man, 43-year-old Peddapasupula Baasha from India, wasn’t discovered right away because he was sitting in his seat and wearing his 3D glasses. Because most Marvel fans know to wait until the end of the film for some insight into what we might expect from future films, and that was of particular interest to anyone who sat through the film, it was assumed he was still sitting there to get to the post-credit scene. The Times of India reports that Peddapasupula…

You’d be hard pressed to choose just one moment in Avengers: Infinity War that was sad, tense, or hilarious. The film was full of every emotion you could conjure. However, one funny moment that easily comes to mind is the exchange between Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and Ebony Maw outside of the Sanctum Sanctorum. Though, the American version of a specific joke was different than the French, and for good reason. Though Spongebob Squarepants is a well-known pop culture reference and widely used here in the United States, the show isn’t so known elsewhere. So, the Squidward joke we…
